Dear customer,

Just a quick note due to quite a few phone calls and messages when I had my summer holidays. I just thought I’d let everyone know I will be shutting down for a couple of weeks over the Christmas period, so please don’t panic if I’m a little overdue in January/February.

This also applies to bad weather. If we have a week of awful weather, it puts me behind. I can only catch up by a round a week, so if we then have a week of dry weather it still takes a fair while to get back on track. I’m having to state this due to so many messages received after the real bad weather lately, followed by a couple weeks of dry weather.

Next year I will be off in May for just over a week and my normal week off in August.

Could I ask everyone to try to clear their accounts over the Christmas period, so I can start fresh in the new year? As at the moment I have just over 200 people owing for their cleans, this can cause cash flow problems sometimes.
