A note from John

Christmas & customer update

Dear customers,

Just my usual Christmas letter to let everyone know I will be shutting down for a couple of weeks over the Christmas period, so please don’t panic if I’m a little overdue in January/February. I’m also then off for a week in February for my wedding anniversary, so just need to let you all know.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support, especially this past year that has turned out to be 7 months of solid rain then turning into 5 heatwaves. Believe it or not, it’s easier to work in the rain than it is in 32-degree heat.

I have now scaled down my window cleaning rounds by over 100 customers and large contracts so that I can keep up with it all a lot easier. Hopefully this now makes keeping up in bad weather a lot less stressful.

Bad weather: If we have a week of awful weather it puts me behind. Working on my own, I literally can’t catch up from this, so remain behind until everyone is done. Next year I will be off in February for a week and my normal week off in August, and an extra week off in October.

Outstanding payments

Could I ask everyone to try and clear their accounts over the Christmas period so I can start fresh in the new year, as at the moment I have 168 people owing for their cleans. Thank you for your continued support and understanding. Have a great Christmas.

If in the future you move house, could you please let me know once you want me to stop, as I’ve had 2 customers recently move whilst still owing for one or even two cleans.
